HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 07-6993 - Establish Schedule of FeesRESOLUTION NO. 074993 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY ESTABLISHING A UNIFORM SCHEDULE OF FEES. WHEREAS, the City of Downey performs special services for the benefit of a limited number of persons to whom such services are of value; and WHEREAS, the cost of rendering such services should be borne by that limited group who are the beneficiaries rather than the citinnry at large; and WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion also that the charges established for such services should equate to the direct cost thereof to the City of Downey; and WHEREAS, for certain services performed, the cost of providing said service greatly varies and is contingent upon the specifics of such service, the City Council finds it more appropriate to charge a fee equal to the actual costs associated with said service. For such services, an initial deposit may be required to guarantee that the City's actual costs will be reimbursed. If the costs exceed the deposit, the person receiving the service will be responsible for additional deposits or reimbursements necessary to offset City costs. If the cost of service is less than the deposit, then the difference shall be refunded to applicant. When the deposit amount specified is a flat amount or an estimated amount, the actual deposit all be the higher of the two figures. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: [That the following fees for services and miscellaneous sales are hereby fixed and established, to be effective from and after the 1 st day of July, 2007: SECTION 1 - ALL DEPARTMENTS Department & Fee or Service Unit Charge Photocopy of Document (Excluding Building Permits & Police Reports) 1 ;t Page Additional Pages $ 0.60 0.10 Research City Records Each Each Actual Cost (Estimated deposit required) Budget Document 35.00 Budget Document–CD version Each 5.00 15.00 2.50 Financial Statement Each Mailing Charge RESOLUTION NO. 076993 PAGE 2 SECTION 2 - CITY CLERK Department & Fee or Service Council Minutes, Agendas, Ordinances & Resolutions Municipal Code - All Sections Municipal Code - Annual Revisions Tape Recordings Compact Disc Charter Unit==n•Hll• 1 “ Page Additional Pages Each Set Subscription Each Charge 0.60 0.10 145.00 31.00 11.00 5.00 1.00 Actual Cost (500.00 Deposit) 2.00 Each Each EachContractor Debarment Appeal Certification of Document Each SECTION 3 – FINANCE Motion Picture Permit Each Actual Cost (Estimated deposit required) 50.00Annual Bingo License Collection Returned Check Each Each 25.00 Customer Service Record Search Hourly (2 hour minimum, partial hour billed as hourly rate) Business Registration One Time Fee Replacement Dog Tag 30.78 30.00 Each 2.00 RESOLUTION NO. 076993 PAGE 3 SECTION 4 - FIRE DEPARTMENT Department & Fee or Service Unit Charge 0.60 0.10 Incident Report 1 ;t Page Additional Page Arson Report w/ Digital Photos First Aid Training CPR Training CPR/First Aid Combined Class Fire Extinguisher Training City Emergency Response Team Training Fireworks Stands Explosives/Black Powder Permits Each Each Each Each Each Each Each Each 50.00 35.00 35.00 48.00 25.00 50.00 200.00 85.00 Annual Emergency Medical Transportation Household Subscription 42.00 (Basic & Advanced Life Support) (Secondary Coverage after Primary Insurance) Emergency Medical Transport Each Transport L.A.
