REGULAR MEETING
DECEMBER 14, 2004
The Community Development Commission of the City of Downey held a Regular Meeting at 7:31 p.m., December 14, 2004 in the Council Chamber of the Downey City Hall, 11111 Brookshire Avenue,
Downey, California, Chairman Anne M. Bayer presiding.

The Invocation was delivered by Mayor Pro Tem Meredith Perkins. The Flag Salute was led by Bonnie Kehoe, Director of Community Services.
CONSENT CALENDAR
It was moved by Vice-Chairman Perkins, seconded by Commissioner Gafin and unanimously carried, noting the abstentions of Commissioners Gafin and Trejo on items 1 and 2; to approve the
Consent Calendar items as recommended:
1. MINUTES: ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 23, 2004: Approve.
2. MINUTES: REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 23, 2004: Approve.
3. CASH CONTRACT #645 – BUILDING DEMOLITION AND ABATEMENT PROJECT FOR 9066 FIRESTONE BOULEVARD: ACCEPT WORK: Approve.
Vice-Chairman Perkins requested that the record note that the cost for this demolition and abatement be added to the selling price of the property.
4. WARRANTS ISSUED: (contained in Council Packet): Approve.
5. FINANCIAL STATEMENT AND STATE CONTROLLER’S REPORT FOR FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2004: Receive and file.
The meeting was recessed at 7:35 p.m.
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
The meeting reconvened for Oral Communications at 8:39 p.m. with all members present (see Oral Communications under Regular City Council Meeting) and recessed at 8:50 p.m.
The meeting reconvened at 10:30 p.m. with all members present.
