REGULAR MEETING
JULY 27, 2004
The Community Development Commission of the City of Downey held a Regular Meeting at 7:30 p.m., July 27, 2004 in the Council Chamber of the Downey City Hall, Chairman Kirk Cartozian
presiding.
PRESENT: Commissioners:

Charles Vose, Attorney

Lee Powell, Assistant City Manager
James Makshanoff, Assistant to the City Manager
John Finch, Police Chief

Bonnie Kehoe, Director of Community Services
John Michicoff, Director of Finance

Linda Haines, Building Official

The Invocation was delivered by Father Vivian Ben Lima, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church of Downey. The Flag Salute was led by Community Services staff and campers from Hollywood Day
Camp.
CONSENT CALENDAR
It was moved by Commissioner Perkins, seconded by Commissioner Trejo and unanimously carried to approve the Consent Calendar items as recommended:
1. MINUTES: ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING JULY 13, 2004: Approve.
MINUTES: REGULAR MEETING JULY 13, 2004: Approve.
WARRANTS ISSUED: (contained in Council Packet): Approve.
The meeting recessed at 7:36 p.m.
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
The meeting reconvened for Oral Communications at 8:30 p.m. with all Commissioners present (see Oral Communications under Regular City Council Meeting) and recessed at 8:44 p.m.
The meeting reconvened at 10:10 p.m. with all Commissioners present.
ADJOURNMENT: 10:10 p.m.
The meeting was adjourned to 6:30 p.m., August 10, 2004, in the Council Chamber of the Downey City Hall.
