Comm MINUTES OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 9, 2003 The Community Development Commission of the City of Downey held a Regular Meeting at 7:36 p.m., September 9, 2003 in the Council Chamber of the Downey City Hall, Chairman Rick Trejo presiding. PRESENT: Commissioners: Rick Trejo Chairman Kirk O. Cartozian Vice-Chairman Anne M. Bayer Keith McCarthy Meredith H. Perkins ALSO PRESENT: Gerald Caton, Executive Director Charles Vose, Attorney Kathleen L. Midstokke, Secretary Lee Powell, Assistant City Manager Desi Alvarez, Director of Public Works John Finch, Police Chief Darrell George, Director of Community & Economic Development Bonnie Kehoe, Director of Community Services John Michicoff, Director of Finance Mark Sauter, Fire Chief Kevin O’Connor, Theatre Manager Ron Yoshiki, Asst. Director of Community Dev./City Planner Susan Domen, Executive Secretary InvocationFlag Salute The was delivered by Commissioner McCarthy. The was led by Vice- Chairman Cartozian. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Commissioner, seconded by Commissioner Bayer and unanimously carried to approve the Consent Calendar items as recommended: 1. MINUTES: ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 26, 2003: Approve. 2. MINUTES: REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 26, 2003: Approve. 3. WARRANTS ISSUED: (contained in Council Packet) Approve. Community Dev. Comm. Minutes 09/09/03 -1- OTHER COMMISSION BUSINESS: None recessed The meeting at 7:37 p.m. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS reconvened The meeting for Oral Communications at 9:03 p.m.; (see Oral Communications recessed under the Regular City Council Meeting) and at 9:13 p.m. reconvened The meeting at11:29 p.m., with all members present.
