MEETINGS: Meet as required.
QUALIFICATIONS: Voter of the City and reside in the respective District during
the entire term of appointment.
DUTIES: Hear and decide appeals of decisions made by the Building
Official in connection with the application or the interpretation of
the California Building Code and other ordinances, regulations
and policies governing the building requirements of the City.
The Board shall consist of five members. Each member shall
be qualified pertaining to building construction and the
California Building Code.
GREEN TASK FORCE
VACANCIES: ONE (1) — District 1 (Southeast portion of the City)
ONE (1) — District 2 (Southwest portion of the City)
MEETINGS: Fourth Monday of the month at 5:00 p.m.
QUALIFICATIONS: Voter of the City and reside in the respective District during
the entire term of appointment.
DUTIES: Review and make recommendations to the City Council
regarding energy; waste reduction; urban design, urban nature,
transportation, environmental health; water; and any other
matters specifically requested to be reviewed by the City
Council.
VACANCIES: ONE (1) — District 5 (Citywide)
MEETINGS: Third Tuesday of the month in the Cormack Room of the
Library at 6:30 p.m.
QUALIFICATIONS: Voter of the City and reside in the respective District during
the entire term of appointment.

DUTIES: Make recommendations to the City Council regarding the
operation and conduct of the City Library.
PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE
VACANCIES: ONE (1) — District 2 (Southwest portion of the City)
ONE (1) — District 3 (Northwest portion of the City)
MEETINGS: Third Thursday of the month at 4:00 p.m. in the 2nd Floor
Training Room of City Hall
QUALIFICATIONS: Voter of the City and reside in the respective District during the
entire term of appointment.
DUTIES: Review and making recommendations to the City Council
regarding traffic and parking, solid waste and recycling,
wastewater collection and disposal, air quality, hazardous
waste, public utilities, transportation and mobility, water supply,
energy consumption and conservation, urban runoff and water
quality, urban blight and streetscape and other matters affecting
a healthy and safe environment.
URBAN FOREST MANAGEMENT PLAN WORKGROUP
VACANCIES: ONE (1) — District 5 (Citywide)
MEETINGS: Fourth Monday of the month at 5:00 p.m.
QUALIFICATIONS: Voter of the City and reside in the respective District during
the entire term of appointment.
DUTIES: Collaborate with the City's Consultant and City staff to set the
vision and goals, and to create an Urban Forest Management
Plan that will be implemented upon completion.
