QUALIFICATIONS: Voter of the City and reside in the respective District during the entire term of appointment. DUTIES: Hear and decide appeals of decisions made by the Building Official in connection with the application or the interpretation of the California Building Code and other ordinances, regulations and policies governing the building requirements of the City. The Board shall consist of five members. Each member shall be qualified pertaining to building construction and the California Building Code. GREEN TASK FORCE VACANCIES: ONE (1) — District 5 (Citywide) MEETINGS: Fourth Monday of the month at 5:00 p.m. QUALIFICATIONS: Voter of the City and reside in the respective District during the entire term of appointment. DUTIES: Review and make recommendations to the City Council regarding energy; waste reduction; urban design, urban nature, transportation, environmental health; water; and any other matters specifically requested to be reviewed by the City Council. VACANCIES: TWO (2) - At -Large (Citywide) MEETINGS: Meet as required. QUALIFICATIONS: Voter of the City and physically challenged. DUTIES: Conduct hearings on written appeals regarding handicapped access compliance requirements for construction. Last Updated: 06/18/2021 LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD VACANCIES: ONE (1) — District 5 (Citywide) MEETINGS: Third Tuesday of the month in the Cormack Room of the Library at 6:30 p.m. QUALIFICATIONS: Voter of the City and reside in the respective District during the entire term of appointment. DUTIES: Make recommendations to the City Council regarding the operation and conduct of the City Library. PERSONNEL ADVISORY BOARD VACANCIES: ONE (1) — District 3 (Northwest portion of the City) ONE (1) — District 4 (Northeast portion of the City) MEETINGS: Meets on a Special called basis to handle Personnel grievances. QUALIFICATIONS: Voter of the City and reside in the respective District during the entire term of appointment. DUTIES: Review and recommend the adoption, amendment or repeal of personnel Rules and Regulations. Make any investigation upon request by the City Council concerning the administration of personnel in the municipal service. Hear Appeals of any officer or employee under the personnel system, who is suspended, demoted or removed. PLANNING COMMISSION VACANCIES: ONE (1) — District 4 (Northeast portion of the City) MEETINGS: 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall. QUALIFICATIONS: Voter of the City and reside in the respective District during the entire term of appointment. DUTIES: Recommend to the Council adoption of General, Master or Specific Plans for physical development. Reviews site plans and applications for Conditional Use Permits, Parcel Maps, and variances.
