DUTIES: Make recommendations to the City Council regarding the operation and conduct of the City Library. PERSONNEL ADVISORY BOARD VACANCIES: ONE (1) District 4 (Northeast portion of the City) MEETINGS: Meets on a Special called basis to handle Personnel grievances. QUALIFICATIONS: Voter of the City and reside in the respective District during the entire term of appointment. DUTIES: Review and recommend the adoption, amendment or repeal of personnel Rules and Regulations. Make any investigation upon request by the City Council concerning the administration of personnel in the municipal service. Hear Appeals of any officer or employee under the personnel system, who is suspended, demoted or removed. PLANNING COMMISSION VACANCIES: ONE (1) District 4 (Northeast portion of the City) MEETINGS: 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall. QUALIFICATIONS: Voter of the City and reside in the respective District during the entire term of appointment. DUTIES: Recommend to the Council adoption of General, Master or Specific Plans for physical development. Reviews site plans and applications for Conditional Use Permits, Parcel Maps, and variances. PUBLIC FACILITIES FINANCING CORPORATION VACANCIES: ONE (1) District 1 (Southeast portion of the City) ONE (1) District 2 (Southwest portion of the City) ONE (1) District 3 (Northwest portion of the City) ONE (1) District 4 (Northeast portion of City) ONE (1) District 5 (Citywide) MEETINGS: Annually in February QUALIFICATIONS: Voter of the City and reside in the respective District during the entire term of appointment. DUTIES: A non-profit benefit corporation of the City to provide financing, acquisition, construction, improvement and remodeling of public building and facilities. PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE VACANCIES: ONE (1) District 2 ((Southwest portion of the City) MEETINGS: Third Thursday of the month at 4:00 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Training Room of City Hall QUALIFICATIONS: Voter of the City and reside in the respective District during the entire term of appointment. DUTIES: Review and making recommendations to the City Council regarding traffic and parking, solid waste and recycling, wastewater collection and disposal, air quality, hazardous waste, public utilities, transportation and mobility, water supply, energy consumption and conservation, urban runoff and water quality, urban blight and streetscape and other matters affecting a healthy and safe environment. URBAN FOREST MANAGEMENT PLAN WORKGROUP VACANCIES: ONE (1) District 5 (Citywide) MEETINGS: Fourth Monday of the month at 5:00 p.m. QUALIFICATIONS: Voter of the City and reside in the respective District during the entire term of appointment. DUTIES: Collaborate with the Citys Consultant and City staff to set the vision and goals, and to create an Urban Forest Management Plan that will be implemented upon completion.
