GSWC supports the Proposed Resolution's reversal of the Water Division's ("WD") rejection of Advice Letter ("AL") 1795-WA. njmmniuj_�_ �@ 'all��l!��l��ll��l�l��l��l�iii��l��iii�i��l��iii�!ii��iii��il��l��ll��ii��l��iii��i�l�l��i�iiii��ii��i�ii��'i IMMITIFIFIM ("PFASMA") will facilitate GSWC's ability to address threats to public health and safety from PFAS contamination as they are identified over the course of further testing efforts without forcing GSWC to reallocate budgeted funds from other essential functions. While GSWC would prefer that the PFASMA provide the same budget readiness with regard to capital projects that it will provide with regard to expenses and operations, GSWC appreciates the Commission's proactive attention to the serious matter of potential PFAS contamination. The Proposed Resolution's requirement that GSWC submit a formal application for the recovery of PFAS- related capital project costs may complicate GSWC's decision -making, should a capital project prove necessary in between rate cases and available funding not prove readily apparent. Nevertheless, GSWC accepts the Commission's decision as set forth in the Proposed Resolution and trusts that the Commission will consider any future application regarding a PFAS-related capital project with the alacrity that it deserves. For the reasons discussed above, GSWC respectfully requests that the Commission establish the PFASMA.
