DOWNEY MUNICIPAL CODE, THROUGH ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE 2019
CALIFORNIA FIRE CODE (CALIFORNIA CODE OF REGULATIONS, TITLE 24, PART
9), BASED ON THE INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE, 2018 EDITION, WITH ERRATA,
AND THOSE PORTIONS OF THE INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE, 2018

5. APPROVE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZE SOLICITATION FOR

LANDSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS; AUTHORIZE TRANSFER OF BUDGETED MEASURE M
LOCAL RETURN FUNDS IN THE AMOUNTS OF $230,000 FROM ACCOUNT NO. 57-1-6782

6. AWARD CONTRACT TO ALL CITIES ENGINEERING, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $159,800 FOR
THE CONSTRUCTION OF PATTON RD. WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS; AUTHORIZE
TRANSFER OF $210,000 FROM CIP WATER FUND ACCOUNT NO. 51-1-8674 TO CIP WATER
FUND ACCOUNT NO. 51-1-8690 TO COVER TOTAL PROJECT COST; AND, AUTHORIZE THE
PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR/CITY ENGINEER TO EXECUTE ANY CHANGE ORDERS OR
ADDITIONAL SCOPE OF WORK DEEMED NECESSARY OR DESIRABLE UP TO THE
APPROVED PROJECT BUDGET (MISCELLANEOUS PROJECT NO. 344): Public Works.
7. APPROVE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH F.M. THOMAS AIR
CONDITIONING, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $39,912 ANNUALLY FOR ON -CALL HVAC
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES; AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT; AND, AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ANY AND ALL

8. APPROVE AN AGREEMENT WITH CERELL ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR BALLOT MEASURE
PUBLIC OUTREACH SERVICES; AND, AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT: Administration.
9. UPDATING AND CONSOLIDATING THE FINE SCHEDULE FOR PARKING VIOLATIONS:

ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 20- , A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
