APPROVEDONATION OF aLF FOURSOME F•- ROTARY OF
DOWNEY
That the City Council approve the donation of one foursome of golf at the Rio Hondo Golf Club
for the Rotary Club of Downey Charity Golf Tournament for The ARC taking place on November
1, 2019 at the Rio Hondo Golf Club.
For more than 110 years, Rotary members have been addressing challenges around the
world. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world
fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service is their main
objective.

A round of golf ranges from $20 for Downey resident youth and seniors on weekdays to $50 per
person on weekends and holidays. The current agreement with the Rio Hondo Golf Club
operator allows the City Council to authorize the City Manager's approval of courtesy play when
the use benefits the City as approved by Council.
