SUBJECT: APPROVE THE DONATION OF ONE GOLF FOURSOME FOR DOWNEY LOS
AMIGOS KIWANIS GOLF TOURNAMENT
That the City Council approve the donation of one foursome of golf at the Rio Hondo Golf
Course in support of the Downey Kiwanis Club.

Founded in 1966, Downey Los Amigos Kiwanis is a non-profit service organization dedicated to
serving the children of Downey. The service organization awards college scholarships, support
local charities, and volunteer to enhance the Downey community. In helping to support this
long-standing community organization, Council is asked to consider the donation of one golf
t e use benefits the City as approved by Council.
The total financial impact of donation of two foursome of golf is approximately $200 applied to
account 52-3-6630.
