SUBJECT: RATIFY THE DONATION OF ONE FOURSOME OF GOLF AT RIO HONDO GOLF

In helping to support this long-standing community organization, Council is asked to
consider ratifying the donation of one foursome of golf to benefit the Downey Police and
Fire Foundation. The foundation was created in 1990 and helps families of both police
and fire employees during times of unexpected financial hardship or emergency medical
needs. The foundation also awards an annual Wayne P. Presley Memorial Scholarship
for furthering education held on June 7, 2019
The total financial impact of donation of two foursomes of golf is approximately $200 for
account 52-3-6610.
