2) AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ANY AND ALL

Currently, there are four (4) Emergency Preparedness Bins located throughout the City
(Sussman Middle School, Griffith Middle School, Warren High School, and San Rio

The update of emergency shelter supply bins will also be in conjunction with the
development of a City -Wide Mass Care and Shelter Plan. The Plan will be developed by
a Working Group consisting of key city departments (i.e., Parks and Recreation). Upon
completion of the plan, a training and exercise program will be developed to prepare city
staff and volunteers to open an emergency shelter.
Quality of Life, Neighborhood & Infrastructure
The cost for completing the project is not to exceed $60,000 in four years, allocating
$15,000 per year. This project is funded by City's Equipment Special Revenue Fund,
with an account number: 62-4-2660-0700.
