A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY EXPRESSING ITS
APPRECIATION AND COMMENDATION TO
Matias Flores
FOR HIS SERVICES AS A MEMBER OF THE DOWNEY PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Matias Flores was appointed to the Planning Commission from District No. 4
on November 27, 2012, and served until January 7, 2019; and
WHEREAS, Matias Flores served in this capacity with dedication, giving freely of his time
to continue to promote and assist in the orderly development of his community; and
WHEREAS, Matias Flores has continued to support and encourage modern City Planning
concepts for the betterment and welfare of our community.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF

The Planning Commission of the City of Downey extends its sincere gratitude to Matias
Flores for the service he performed as Planning Commissioner, and the contribution of his
experience during his six years of service to the community.
INTRODUCED, READ, AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Downey
on the 6th day of February, 2019, by a unanimous vote in favor of this resolution.
