On June 1, 2016, the Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 16-2987 approving
Tentative Parcel Map No. 73819 combining 12 parcels of land into a single 1.76 -acre lot to
accommodate a new ALDI grocery store located at 11215 Lakewood Boulevard (see
Attachment A).
On May 16, 2018, the Planning Commission granted a 12 -month extension to Tentative Parcel
Map No. 73819 to accommodate for completion of the public improvements to Lakewood
Boulevard and Nash Street. All said the public improvements associated with the proposed
tentative parcel map have been completed and approved.
On January 16, 2019, the Planning Commission considered the parcel map and adopted a
minute action recommending City Council approval of Final Parcel Map No. 73819. The map
has been checked and found to be technically correct, in conformance with the approved
tentative subdivision map and in compliance with local codes and regulations.
Attachment B is a Resolution of the City Council approving Parcel Map No. 73819. Staff
recommends approval of the attached Resolution.

RESOLUTION OF • OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY
WHEREAS, on January 16, 2019, the Planning Commission considered Final Parcel
Map No. 73819 (attached herein as Exhibit "A") and adopted a minute action recommending
City Council approval of said map; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer and City Planner have reviewed the proposed Final
Parcel Map and find it to be technically correct and that all applicable Tentative Parcel Map
conditions have been satisfied; and
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Downey does hereby resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. The Parcel Map No. 73819 attached hereto as Exhibit A is hereby
approved.
SECTION 2. Direct the City Clerk to transmit the Final Parcel Map No. 73819 to the Los
Angeles County Recorder' Office for recordation.
SECTION 3. That City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.

located at 11215 Lakewood Blvd. After considering all written and oral testimony, the Planning
Commission adopted a minute action recommending the City Council approve Final Parcel Map
No. 73819.
