CALL TO ORDER: Committee Chair Frey called the meeting to order at 4:05 P.M. II. CONSENT CALENDAR: Committee Member Lamkin made a motion to approve the Minutes of the March 15, 2018 meeting but then withdrew his motion and abstained for not being present at the last meeting. Committee Member Gendreau then made a motion to approve the Minutes of the March 15, 2018. The motion was seconded by Committee Member Cotaya. The Minutes were approved as written. III. OLD BUSINESS: None. IV. NEW BUSINESS: 1. Presentation by Josef Kekula, Superintended of Maintenance, on the city’s Maintenance Division and Dan Mueller, Principal Civil Engineer/Utilities Division Manager, on the city’s Utilities Division Mr. Mostahkami introduced Mr. Josef Kekula and Mr. Dan Mueller who each took their turn and gave a presentation regarding their respective divisions. Neighborhood Watch signs: Arrington/Gainford - complete Suva/Arrington - not complete Haledon/Gainford – not complete 2. Street Sweeping sign on Horley Ave. is not visible as you turn onto Horley Ave. 3. The license plate reader cameras appear to be working. (Cotaya) 4.11010 Ryerson Ave.—there is a leaking water main. (Lamkin) 5. Chair Frey and Committee Member Gendreau will not be present at the next meeting on May 17th. VI. STAFF COMMUNICATIONS Updates were given on the following: 1. Lakewood Blvd. Phase 3C improvement Project (Gallatin Rd. to 450-feet S/O Telegraph Rd) – Project will be awarded to Sully-Miller at the next City Council meeting. 2. Potable and Recycled Water Improvements and Storm Water Drainage Improvements, bio- swale reconstruction on the west side of Lakewood Blvd. just south of I-5 off ramp. VII. NEXT MEETING: May 17, 2018 The Public Works Committee meeting was adjourned at 5:30 P.M.
