DAVIS, CITY PLANNER \j\/W PLN-16-00254 (REVOCATION OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT PLN-12- 00215 AND PLN-13-00054): REVOCATION OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT PLN-12-00215 AND PLN-13-00054, WHICH ALLOW A BUSINESS TO OPERATE WITH AN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL TYPE 48 (ON-SALE GENERAL -PUBLIC PREMISES) LICENSE, PURSUANT TO SECTION 9828 OF THE DOWNEY MUNICIPAL CODE, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 8832 IMPERIAL HIGHWAY AND ZONED C-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) 8832 IMPERIAL HIGHWAY C-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) On October 3, 2012, the Planning Commission approved Conditional Use Permit PLN-12-00215 and PLN-13-00054 (Revision 'A' to PLN-12-00215), which allowed the Wet Bar to operate as a casual bar with an Alcoholic Beverage Control Type 48 (On-Sale General, Public Premises) license. The following year, the Wet Bar began to feature live entertainment on the premises without City approval, which resulted in criminal activities and the business becoming a nuisance for adjacent residents. The Wet Bar has been closed for business since March 2015, which represents reasonable grounds to revoke Conditional Use Permit PLN-12-00215 and PLN-13- 00054 (Revision 'A' to PLN-12-00215).
