VERIZON WIRELESS TO ADD THREE (3) NEW CELLULAR ANTENNAS TO
THE EXISTING THREE (3) CELLULAR ANTENNAS, TOTALING SIX (6)
ANTENNAS, ON THE ROOFTOP OF AN OFFICE BUILDING
LOCATION: 12950 PARAMOUNT BLVD. (6260-006-063)
ZONING: ZONED C-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL)
BACKGROUND
PLN-14-00075 is request for a conditional use permit to allow Verizon Wireless to add
three (3) new cellular antennas to the existing three (3) cellular antennas, totaling six (6)
antennas, on the rooftop of an office building located at 9528 12950 Paramount Blvd.,
zoned C-2 (General Commercial).
DISCUSSION
While processing this application, staff determined this project is subject to the requirements of
Section 704 of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 (Public Law 104–104) and Middle Class
Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2012 (112 P.L. 96, Sec. 6409) and therefore, does not
require discretionary review by the Planning Commission and should be withdrawn.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Planning Commission accept the withdrawal.
