HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 14-7482 - Approving Parcel Map No. 69907, Approving an Agreement with the Subdivider and Accepting a Subdivision Improvement Labor and Material Performance Bond As SuretyRESOLUTION NO. 14-7482 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY APPROVING PARCEL MAP NO. 69907, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE SUBDIVIDER AND ACCEPTING A SUBDIVISION IMPROVEMENT LABOR AND MATERIAL PERFORMANCE BOND AS SURETY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. There is herewith submitted to the City Council for approval, Parcel Map No. 69907, recommended by the Planning Commission on March 5, 2014. SECTION 2. There is herewith submitted to the City Council a proposed agreement between the City of Downey and the developer of said parcel for the construction of certain public improvements. SECTION 3. The above-described agreement is accompanied by a performance labor and material bond as surety for faithful performance of the terms and conditions of said agreement . SECTION 4. The City Council of the City of Downey does hereby order: a) That Parcel Map No. 69907 is hereby approved; b) That the Mayor of the City of Downey is hereby authorized to execute the proposed agreement for construction of subdivision improvements between the City and said developer; c) That the labor and material bond on file for faithful performance of the terms and conditions of said agreement is hereby accepted. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and further instructed to forward two (2) certified copies of this Resolution to the Director of Public Works of the County of Los Angeles.
