SUBJECT: CONSIDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO WRITE A LETTER
DEMANDING THE RESIGNATION OF SENATOR RODERICK WRIGHT
RECOMMENDATION
Council Member Guerra requested the City Council consider authorizing the Mayor to write
a letter on behalf of the Council to Senator Wright and to the Senate Pro Tem, Darrell
Steinberg, demanding the resignation of Senator Wright in light of his recent felony
convictions, and the effects this has had on the citizens of Downey.
