Civic Chorus.
Councilman Morton stated he is b asically in concurrence entirely with
both Councilman Dunnum and Corbin who feel that the City should not use funds
in this manner, however he feels the matter has gone too far --unfortunately
the matter should have been brought to City Council some time ago before

the programs show that the Downey Civic Chorus will sing at this function in
Guadalajara upon seven occasions.
Councilman Dickerson stated he also concurs with Councilmen Dunnum and
Corbin in their views, but that he feels the Downey Civic Chorus can further
help cement relations between the two cities. He asked Dick Raabe if he

were definitely very pleased with the two ambulances which were recently
presented to them, after having been driven to Guadalajara by Mayor Dickerson
