PLN-13-00069 - 7634 Stewart and Gray STAFF REPORT DATE: JUNE 19, 2 013 TO: PLANNING COMMISSION FROM: BRIAN SAEKI, DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DAVID BLUMENTHAL, SENIOR PLANNER SUBJECT: PLN - 13 - 00069 ( SITE PLAN REVIEW, TENTATIVE TRACT MAP, AND VARIANCE ) – A REQUEST TO SUBDIVIDE A PARCEL IN ORDER TO CONSTRUCT 9 TOWNHOMES AND TO DEVIATE FORM THE VARIABLE HEIGHT REQUIREMENT . LOCATION: 7634 STEWART AND GRAY RD (AIN 6246 - 012 - 101 & 6246 - 012 - 009 ) ZONING: R - 3 - O (MULTI - FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, OWNERSHIP ) DISCUSSION The proposed application is subdivide th e site and construct a nine unit townhome development. Additionally, the applicant is requesting to deviate from the variable height requirement for the rear lot line. Unfortunately, due to an error in the legal advertisement that was placed in the Downe y Patriot , proper public notice was not given. As such, staff is requesting that the Planning Commission continue the request until July 3, 2013 in order to give staff additional time to re - advertise the project.
