A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY
APPROVING THE FINAL INITIAL STUDY /ENVIRONMENTAL
ASSESSMENT FOR THE COLUMBIA MEMORIAL SPACE LEARNING
CENTER AND DOWNEY LANDING PARK.
WHEREAS, an Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration of environmental impact
has been prepared pursuant to the requirements of Sections 15063, 15070, and 15071 of the
California Environmental Act (CEQA) Guidelines.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Final Initial Study /Environmental Assessment for the Columbia
Memorial Space Learning Center and Downey Landing Park Project is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of February, 2005.
