REGULAR MEETING
OCTOBER 25, 2005
The Community Development Commission of the City of Downey held a Regular Meeting at
7:39 p.m., October25, 2005, in the Council Chamber of the Downey City Hall, 11111 Brookshire
Avenue, Downey, California, Chairman Anne M. Bayer presiding.
PRESENT: Commissioners:

Meredith H. Perkins Vice - Chairman

ALSO PRESENT: Gerald M. Caton, Executive Director
Charles S. Vose, Attorney /Economic Development Director
Kathleen L. Midstokke, Secretary
Lee Powell, Assistant City Manager
John Finch, Police Chief
Linda Haines, Director of Development Services
Bonnie Kehoe, Director of Community Services
Anthony La, Deputy Director of Public Works
Ron LeVar, Building Official
John Michicoff, Director of Finance
Mark Sauter, Fire Chief
Susan Domen, Secretary to the City Clerk
The Invocation was delivered by Pastor Lewis Busch, Good Shepard Lutheran Church,
Downey. The Flag Salute was led by John Finch, Chief of Police.
CONSENT CALENDAR
It was moved by Commissioner Gafin, seconded by Commissioner Trejo, and unanimously
carried to approve the Consent Calendar items as recommended:
1. APPROVE COMMISSION MINUTES: Adjourned and Regular Meetings October 11,
2005: Secretary.
2. APPROVE WARRANTS ISSUED: (See Council Warrant Register): Finance.
The meeting recessed at 7:40 p.m.
PUBLIC COMMENT
The meeting reconvened for Public Comment at 7:50 p.m. with all Commissioners present
(see Public Comment under Regular City Council Meeting) and recessed at 8:07 p.m.

ADJOURNMENT: 8:35 p.m.
The meeting adjoumed to 6:30 p.m., November 8, 2005, in the Council Chamberof Downey
