HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 6667 RESOLUTION NO. 6667 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY RESTRICTING PARKING OF VEHICLES OVER SEVEN FEET IN HEIGHT ON SEAACA STREET, EAST OF PANGBORN AVENUE. WHEREAS, commercial vehicle parking is not restricted on SEAACA Street, East of Pangborn Avenue, under the provisions of Section 3185 of the Downey Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the City of Downey desires to prohibit parking of commercial vehicles only on the South side of SEAACA Street between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM; and NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Pursuant to the authority of Sections 22507 of the California Vehicle Code, parking of vehicles over seven feet in height is hereby prohibited from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on the South side of SEAACA Street, East of Pangborn Avenue. SECTION 2. That the Department of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to install all necessary signs for this parking restriction. SECTION 3.
