CALL TO ORDER: In the absence of the Chairperson, Patricia Kotze, Vice-Chair Martin Susnir called the meeting to order at 4:04 P.M. II. CONSENT CALENDAR: Committee Member Joan Frey made a motion to approve the Minutes of the March 15, 2012 meeting. The motion was seconded by Committee Member Stephen Chu. The Minutes were approved as written. III.OLD BUSINESS: None. IV. NEW BUSINESS: 1. Presentation on the Fiscal Year 2012-13 Capital Improvement Program Mr. Norris gave a presentation on the Fiscal Year 2012-13 Capital Improvement Program. Discussion followed. MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE April 19, 2012 Page 2 V. PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS Mr. Lars Clutterham updated the Public Works committee regarding the Bicycle Master Plan. VI. PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE COMMUNICATIONS Reports on CIP project status updates, recent Utilities Division activity, Historical Water Supply and Well Production Summary were distributed and discussed. Committee Member Frey complimented the Maintenance Division for the tree trimming on Coolgrove Drive as well as the Engineering Division for the upgraded traffic signals along Florence Avenue, particularly the new traffic signal pole on the northeast corner of the Rives Avenue intersection. VII. STAFF COMMUNICATIONS Mr. Norris reported to the committee that the “KEEP CLEAR” markings have been nd installed at the intersection of Paramount Boulevard and 2 Street. VIII. NEXT MEETING: May 17, 2012 The Public Works Committee meeting was adjourned at 5:50 P.M.
