A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DOWNEY PROPOSING TO ANNEX CERTAIN AREAS INTO THE
LIGHTING MAINThNANCE DISTRICT A.D. 121 AND ORDERING
THE ENGINEER TO PREPARE AND FILE .A REPORT PURSUANT
TO THE LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972.
(ANNEXATIONS 89/03 THROUGH 89/36).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council proposes to annex certain areas into
Lighting Maintenance District A.D. 121 under the provisions of Article
2 of Chapter 2 of Part 2 of Division 15 of the California Streets and
Highways Code (Sections 22605 et seq) for the purpose of operating and
maintaining public lighting facilities located in, upon, and along public
streets. The boundary descriptions and plans of the proposed locations
are on file in the office of the City Clerk, which said documents are
open to public inspection in said office under the designation Annexations
89/03 through 89/37.
SECTION 2. The Engineer is ordered to prepare and file a report
in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of Chapter 1 of Part 2
of Division 15 of the California Streets and Highways Code (Sections 22565
et seq).
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.
