RESOLUTION NO.4692
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DOWNEY DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
THE 20.00 FOOT -WIDE ALLEY LOCATED BETWEEN
SECOND STREET AND THIRD STREET AND RUNNING
EASTERLY FROM PARAMOUNT BOULEVARD.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Downey, upon recommendation
of the Planning Commission declares its intention to vacate that public
alley as shown on the attached copy of the map on file in the office of
the City Clerk to which reference is made for further particulars. The
public right -of -way being vacated is described as that 20.00 foot -wide alley
shown on the map of Wooley's Addition Downey City in the City of Downey,
County of Los Angeles, as per map recorded in Book 22, Page 67 of Miscellaneous
i Records in the Office of the County Recorder of said County.
RESERVING UNTO THE CITY OF DOWNEY an easement to install, operate, maintain,
repair and replace sanitary sewers in, under, and across said land.
SECTION 2. The hour of 7:30 p.m. on the llth day of March, 1986,
is hereby fixed as the time, and the City Council Chambers in the City Hall
at 11111 Brookshire Avenue, Downey, California, is fixed as the place for
hearing all persons interested in the proposed vacation of said alley.
SECTION 3. Notices of the proposed vacation shall be posted and /or
published in the manner prescribed by Section 8322 of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.

the City Council of the City of Downey at a regular meeting thereof held
on the lltkiay of February , 1986, by the following vote.
