HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 4680 RESOLUTION NO. 4680 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY CONFIRMING AND DECLARING A PUBLIC AREA TO BE A PUBLIC FORUM THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That certain area located in the northwestern corner of the Civic Center complex where the former "City Hall arch" is located, described in Exhibit A, is hereby confirmed as, and declared to be, a public park /public forum. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and provide for appropriate distribution thereof. APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of December, 1985. McFarland and J.G. Downey in the City of Downey, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 1, Pages 156 through 158 inclusive, of Patents, in the office of the County Recorder of said County, bounded northeasterly by the southwesterly line and the southeasterly prolongation -- of the southwesterly line of Tract 13224 as shown on the map recorded in Book 264, Pages 22 and 23 of Maps in the office of the County recorder of said County; bounded northwesterly by the northwesterly line and the northeasterly prolongation of said northwesterly line of Civic Center Drive described on Document 84- 133708 recorded February 1, 1984, in the office of the .County Recorder of said County, bounded southerly by the northerly line of said Civic Center Drive; and bounded southeasterly by the intersection of said southeasterly prolongation of the southwesterly line of Tract 13224 and the northeasterly line of said Civic Center Drive. •
