A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY
ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION FOR JUST AND REASONABLE
EXPENSES FOR CERTAIN BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS AND
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 3922
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 20 to Article I, Part II, of the City of
Downey Personnel Manual is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 20. The following monthly amounts shall be paid to the
members of citizens boards or commissions as indicated as just and
reasonable compensation for expenses incurred in the performance of
their responsibilities:
Recreation and Community - $36.00 per meeting, not to exceed
Services Commission $72.00 monthly.
Planning Commission - $36.00 per meeting, including a
maximum of three (3) excused
absences, and not to exceed
$72.00 monthly.
Personnel Advisory Board - $18.00 per meeting, not to exceed
$36.00 monthly.
Water Board - $18.00 per meeting, not to exceed
$36.00 monthly.
Building Appeals Board - $18.00 per meeting, not to exceed

SECTION 2. Resolution No. 3922 is hereby rescinded. f
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution and provide for appropriate distribution thereof.
