HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 4384 RESOLUTION NO. 4384 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY CONSENTING TO A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING WITH THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY TO CONSIDER FORMAL ADOPTION OF THE REVISED REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 3 WHEREAS, the Community Development Commission of the City of Downey has by its Resolution No. 152 consented to and requested the City Council of the City of Downey to hold a joint public hearing to consider formal adoption of the proposed Revised Redevelopment Plan Amendment No. 3 for the Downey Redevelopment Project; and WHEREAS, the California Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code, Section 33355) authorizes a joint public hearing on the proposed Revised Redevelopment Plan Amendment No. 3 with the Community Development Commission and the City Council; NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that: Section 1: The City Council of the City of Downey hereby consents to a joint public hearing with the Community Development Commission of the City of Downey to consider formal adoption of the Revised Redevelopment Plan Amendment No. 3. Section 2: The City Council further establishes the date for said public hearing as May 29, 1984, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in the Downey Community Theatre at 8450 Second Street. Section 3: Pursuant to Section 33359 of the Health and Safety Code, action to approve and adopt the Revised Redevelopment Plan Amendment No. 3 for the proposed Downey Redevelopment Project will be taken only by the City Council of the City of Downey.
