HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 4258 RESOLUTION NO. 4258 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DESCRIBING IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT AD 121 FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1983 -84 AND ORDERING THE CITY TRAFFIC ENGINEER TO PREPARE AND FILE A REPORT. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Downey does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council proposes to levy and collect assessments within Lighting Maintenance District AD 121 for the fiscal year 1983 -84 under the provisions of Part 2 of Division 15 of the California Streets and Highways Code (Section 22500 et seq) for the purpose of maintaining and servicing public street lighting facilities located in, upon and along the public streets within the City. The boundaries of Lighting Maintenance District AD 121 are described and set forth on that certain map identified as A.D. 121 -B on file in the office of the City Clerk, where it is available for public inspection. SECTION 2. Additional properties located within the boundaries of Lighting Maintenance District AD 121 have been included for the fiscal year 1983 -84. These properties have been annexed to the District by previous resolutions through planning case requirements, Section 8100 of the Downey Municipal Code and voluntary installation of new street lights. SECTION 3. The City Traffic Engineer is ordered to prepare and file a report in accordance with the provisions of Section 22585 of the California Streets and Highways Code. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. 1 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of June , 1983. James T.
