A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF DOWNEY OVERRULING PROTESTS
Assessment District No. 113 (Bergman Lane)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of Intention No.
4241 adopted on the 24th day of May, 1983, the City
Council set a hearing on the 14th day of June, 1983, for
the purpose of determining whether work described in said
Resolution of Intention should be performed; and
WHEREAS, the majority protest provisions of the
"Debt Limit Act" are not applicable.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Downey does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. After hearing the report of the
engineer and all evidence for and against the doing
of the work described in Resolution of Intention No.
4241, the City Council of the City of Downey finds that
such work should be done and hereby overrules any and
all protests to the doing of said work.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of June
1983.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution
was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Downey held on the 14th day of June, 1983,
by the affirmative vote of at least five councilmen,
to wit:
