HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 4225 RESOLUTION NO. 4225 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY PROPOSING TO ANNEX A CERTAIN AREA INTO THE LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT AD 121 AND ORDERING THE CITY TRAFFIC ENGINEER TO PREPARE AND FILE A REPORT PURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972 (ANNEXATION 83/1 - STAMPS ROAD: CHEROKEE TO SEVENTH). THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: — SECTION 1. The City Council proposes to annex a certain area into the Lighting Maintenance District AD 121 under the provisions of Article 2 of Chapter 2 of Part 2 of Division 15 of the California Streets and Highways Code (Sections 22605 et seq) for the purpose of operating and maintaining public lighting facilities located in, upon and along public streets. The boundary description and plan of the proposed locations are on file in the office of the City Clerk, which said documents are open to public inspection in said office under the designation Annexation 83/1 - Stamps Road between Cherokee Drive and Seventh Street. SECTION 2. The City Traffic Engineer is ordered to prepare and file a report in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of Chapter 1 of Part 2 of Division 15 of the California Streets and Highways Code (Sections 22565 et seq). SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of May , 1983. IIP ,...i — James T.
