HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 4031 RESOLUTION NO.4031 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY COMMENDING VINCENT S. DALSIMER ON HIS APPOINTMENT TO THE COURT OF APPEALS WHEREAS, Vincent S. Dalsimer attended Southwestern University Law School and graduated in 1949; and WHEREAS, Vincent S. Dalsimer became Deputy Attorney General in 1950; and WHEREAS, Vincent S. Dalsimer went into private practice until January of 1959 in Bellflower, California and at the same time was a member of the first City Council of Bellflower; and WHEREAS, Vincent S. Dalsimer resigned that position in order to accept a position as Director of the Department of Consumer Affairs of the State of California; and WHEREAS, Mr. Dalsimer held that position until December of 1961 when he was appointed to the Los Angeles County Superior Court and was with the Superior Court until June, 1981 when he was appointed to the Court of Appeals. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That this City Council commends Justice Vincent S. Dalsimer on his appointment to the Court of Appeals. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of November, 1981. .r A Milton R.
