A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DOWNEY AMENDING THE 1981 -82 MANAGEMENT SUPERVISION
PAY PLAN AND THE 1981 -82 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City Council has given careful consideration
to the amending of the Management Supervision Pay Plan recommended
by the City Manager, commencing August 25, 1981.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Management Supervision Pay Plan shall be
amended to delete the position of Personnel Officer at Schedule A -20.
(Reference Exhibit "A" attached hereto.)
SECTION 2. The Management Supervision Pay Plan shall be
amended to include the position of Assistant City Manager at Schedule
A -39. (Reference Exhibit "A" attached hereto.)
SECTION 3. The Miscellaneous Pay Plan shall be amended to
delete the position of Secretary Stenographer, Engineering Division,
Department of Community Development, at Schedule 13.
SECTION 4. The 1981 -82 Budget should be amended to delete
the position of Community Development Director.
BE IT RESOLVED that the amendments in this Resolution will
reduce the 1981 -82 Budget by $67,853.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution
and provide for appropriate distribution thereof.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of August, 1981.
