HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 3806 RESOLUTION NO. 3806 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DESCRIBING ANY IMPROVEMENTS AND CHANGES WITHIN LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT AD 121 FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1980-81 AND ORDERING THE ENGINEER TO PREPARE AND FILE A REPORT ON SAME. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Downey does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council proposes to levy and collect assessment within Lighting Maintenance District AD 121 for the Fiscal Year 1980 -81, under the provisions of Part 2 of Division 15 of the California Streets and Highways Code (Sections 22500 et seq..), for the purpose of maintaining and servicing public street lighting facilities located in, upon and along the public streets within the City. The boundaries of Lighting Maintenance District AD 121 are described and set forth on that certain map identified as A.D. 121 -B on file in the office of the City Clerk, where it is available for public inspection. SECTION 2. Additional properties located within the boundaries of Lighting Maintenance District AD 121 have been included for the Fiscal Year 1980 -81. These properties have been annexed to the District by previous resolutions through planning case requirements, Section 8100 of the Downey Municipal Code and voluntary installation of new street lights. SECTION 3. The upgrading of City -owned lights is proposed in Zone II on Downey Avenue and in Zone I for Tract No. 13642 at District expense in con- junction with the similar upgrading of utility -owned lights throughout the District at the expense of the service utility. SECTION 4. The Engineer is ordered to prepare and file a report in accordance with the provisions of Section 22585 of the California Streets and Highways Code. SECTION 5.
