HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 3761 RESOLUTION NO.37 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING DOWNEY AVENUE (0.23 MILES) BETWEEN THE WESTERLY CITY LIMITS AND THE MOST SOUTHERLY CITY LIMITS AT CENTURY BOULEVARD TO BE INCLUDED IN THE' FEDERAL -AID URBAN SYSTEM. WHEREAS, under regulations issued by the Secretary of Transportation under the Federal-Aid Highway Act (Title 23 U.S. Code), the City of Downey with the con- ,.--• currence of the California Department of Transportation, has been designated to select a Federal -Aid Urban System in this City. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the City Council concurs and approves Downey PP Avenue (0.23 miles) between the Westerly City Limits and the most Southerly City Limits as an addition to the existing Federal -Aid Urban System eligible for Federal -Aid in the City of Downey, State of California, subject to the concurrence of the California Department of•Transportation and approval of the Federal Highway Administration. III SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and forward copies to the Department of Community Development for transmittal to Caltrans.
