HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 3580 RESOLUTION NO. 3580 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY ORDERING THE FORMATION OF LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT AD 121 AND CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT, AS AMENDED. WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution No. 3575 declared its intention to form an Assessment District pursuant to the provisions of the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972; and WHEREAS, on July 25, 1978, the City Council held a public hearing to determine whether such district should be formed; and WHEREAS, the City Council determined that it had authority to proceed with the formation of the District; and WHEREAS, certain changes in the Engineer's Report were ordered, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The report of the Engineer as filed on July 11, 1978, and as modified by the City Council on July 25, 1978, hereby is approved and adopted and the improvements and the formation of the Assessment District in accordance with said report as modified, and in accordance with Resolution of Intention No. 3575 hereby is ordered and the diagram and assessment as modified hereby is confirmed and an assessment as modified hereby is confirmed and an assessment in accordance with said report hereby is levied for the fiscal year 1978 -79. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall cause the diagram and assessment or a certified copy thereof to be filed with the County Auditor. SECTION 3.
