A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DOWNEY DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ABANDON
CITY -WIDE LIGHTING DISTRICT FORMED BY
RESOLUTION NO. 3025
r ` THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Downey hereby declares its
intention to abandon that certain Assessment District formed under and pursuant
to the Street Lighting Act of 1919, as shown on maps on file in the office of
the City Clerk.
SECTION 2. Notice hereby is given that on July 25, 1978, at 7:30 o'clock
p.m. in the Council Chamber of the City in the City Hall, located at 8425 Second
Street, Downey, California, the City Council will hear and pass upon all
objections and protests to such abandonment.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall give notice of the hearing in the manner
prescribed by Chapter 5, Part 1, Division 14 of the Streets and Highways Code
of the State of California.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this llth day of July 1978.
