A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DOWNEY OVERRULING PROTESTS
(A.D. 119)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 3268 adopted on
the 12th day of April, 1976, the City Council set a hearing on the 10th day
of May, 1976, for the purpose of determining whether the work described in said
Resolution of Intention should be performed; and
WHEREAS, the majority protest provisions of the "Debt Limit Act" are
not applicable.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Downey does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. After hearing the report of the engineer and all evidence
for and against the doing of the work described in Resolution of Intention No. 3268
the City Council of the City of Downey finds that such work should be done and
hereby overrules any and all protests to the doing of said work.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of May , 1976.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Downey held on the 10th day of
May , 1976, by the affirmative vote of at least five Council Members
to wit:
