HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 3207 RESOLUTION NO. 3207 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY HONORING ALICE WHITE, A RESIDENT OF DOWNEY WHEREAS, Mrs. Alice White was born in Lyndon, Wisconsin, in 1875 and is a resident of Downey; and WHEREAS, Mrs. Alice White was born at the close of our Country's first 100 years; and WHEREAS, Mrs. Alice White has faithfully taken an active part in the worship services conducted by the Trinity Baptist Church at the Country Villa Retirement Center. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the public is invited to join Mrs. Alice White in the 100th Birthday Party Bicentennial Celebration of our Country on December 21, 1975, 4 :00 p.m., at the Trinity Baptist Church. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and, as a record for history, cause it to be filed in the Official Book of Resolutions in the archives of this City.
