HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 3155 RESOLUTION NO. 3155 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY ADOPTING SWORN FIRE ADJUSTMENTS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the City of Downey Personnel Manual be amended as reflected in the attached Memorandum of Understanding effective August 6, 1975. SECTION 2. Repeal the Memorandum of Understanding amendment adopted by City Council on July 14, 1975. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and shall provide for appropriate distribution thereof. F Jo . Repeal the June 14, 1975 Resolution concerning the - Firemen's Association Memorandum of Understanding Amendment. . 2. Adopt the attached Memorandum for 1975 -76 in lieu of the fourth year of the four-year Memorandum of Under standing with the Downey Firemen's .Association. 3. Adopt the attached Resolution. _ Significant Changes: . 1. Changing the May 5, 1975 2. 75% to July 1, 1975. 2. Changing the February 2.75% increase back to April 19 1976. • • 3. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING After having met and conferred in good faith, and the Fire Association indicates by this Memorandum of Understanding that the City has met and conferred in good faith, the following stipulations are agreed upon • as follows: • • 1. The memorandum of understanding now in existence . - dated June 29, 1972 as it provides for the 1975-76 fiscal period, is hereby repealed. In lieu thereof the following provisions shall be in full force and effect. - a. Salary increases shall be instituted for all • ' .
