A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY
ADOPTING A PROFILE AND IMPROVEMENT PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PROJECT 7850, UNIT 1, 1970 STORM
DRAIN BOND ISSUE IN THE CITY OF DOWNEY, AND AUTHORIZING THE
USE OF CITY STREETS FOR CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE.
WHEREAS, Plans and Specifications have been checked and approved by the
City Engineer and by the Los Angeles County Flood Control District for the
construction of Storm Drain under the 1970 Storm Drain Bond Issue Project No.
7850, Unit 1, within the Rancho Los Amigos property,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the improvement plans and specifications entitled
"Specifications for the Construction of Downey Project No. 7850, Unit 1,
1970 Storm Drain Bond Issue in the City of Downey, California," on file
in the office of the City Engineer in the City of Downey, and the same are
hereby approved and adopted for such work and improvement.
SECTION 2. The Los Angeles County Flood Control District is authorized
to proceed with the construction as described herein and to operate and
maintain the storm drain installations upon completion.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution and forward certified copies thereof to the Director of Community
Development of the City of Downey for transmittal to the Los Angeles County
Flood Control District.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 27th day of May, 1975.
