A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY
APPROVING THE FINAL SUBDIVISION MAP OF TRACT NO. 32384,
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE SUBDIVIDERS AND ACCEPTANCE
OF A LETTER OF CREDIT FOR CASH ON DEPOSIT IN LIEU OF
SURETY BONDS (10345 DOWNEY AVENUE)

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby submitted to the City Council by the owners
and subdividers thereof, a final subdivision map of Tract No. 32384 approved I
by the Planning Commission and by the City Engineer.
SECTION 2. There is herewith submitted to the Downey City Council a
proposed contract between the City of Downey and the owners of said tract
for the construction of certain improvements within said subdivision.
SECTION 3. The above described contract is accompanied by a letter of
credit for cash on deposit in lieu of surety bonds for the faithful performance
of the terms and conditions of said contract and for labor and materials.
SECTION 4. The Downey City Council does hereby order:
(a) That the subdivision map of Tract No. 32384 submitted to this
meeting, be and the same is hereby approved;
(b) That the Mayor of the City of Downey is hereby authorized and
directed to execute the proposed contract between the City
and said owners, and the same is hereby approved;
— (c) That the letter of credit for cash on deposit in lieu of
surety bonds presented for the faithful performance of the
terms and conditions of said contract, and for labor and
materials, be and the same are hereby accepted.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution and forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Mr. Harvey
T. Brandt, County Engineer, and to Mr. I. L. Morhar, Road Commissioner,
for the County of Los Angeles.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this9th day of September , 1974.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the
City Council of the City of Downey, at a regular meeting thereof held on the
9th day of September , 1974, by the following vote:
AYES: 4 Councilmen: Temple, DiLoreto, Scotto, Jennings
NOES: 0 Councilmen: None
