HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 2998 RESOLUTION NO. 2998 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY ORDERING THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TO MAKE A REPORT PURSUANT TO THE STREET LIGHTING ACT OF 1919 (ANNEXATION 74/15) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Sections 18040 -18042 of the California Streets and Highways Code, the City Council hereby orders the Director of Community Development of the City of Downey to make and file with the City Clerk a report in writing for the improvement of street lighting as shown on Plan No. SL -258. The alternative procedure for levying and collecting ad valorem assessments, as set forth in Sections 18160 -18169 of the Streets and Highways Code, shall be followed. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. Y «.
