RESOLUTION NO. 2832
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY
REQUIRING ALL VEHICLES TO STOP AT THE INTERSECTION OF
MATTOCK AVENUE AND DACOSTA STREET
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to the authority of Section 3132, Downey Municipal
Code, it is hereby declared that all vehicles approaching the intersection of
Mattock Avenue and Dacosta Street shall stop at the entrances thereto.
SECTION 2. The Department of Public Works is hereby authorized and
directed to install all necessary and appropriate signs and markings to
accomplish the stopping of all approaching traffic at the intersection of
Mattock Avenue and Dacosta Street, and red curb on the stopped approaches
per Section 3160, Downey Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 24th day of July 1973.
