A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY
AUTHORIZING THE USE OF CERTAIN ACCESS RIGHTS DEDICATED
TO THE CITY
WHEREAS, the Access Rights from Lot 23 within Tract No. 16074 onto
Brookshire Avenue were previously dedicated to County of Los Angeles and
subsequently passed to the City of Downey; and
WHEREAS, it has been requested that authorization be granted to use
these Access Rights so dedicated; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Downey upon recommendation
of the Planning Commission find that it is necessary that these access
rights be used to permit reasonable development of said Lot 23.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The owner and /or developer of Lot 23 within Tract No.
16074 be permitted and authorized to take access from that portion of
Brookshire Avenue, being a 25.00 foot access described as follows:
Commencing at the Northerly corner of Lot 23 of Tract No. 16074
as shown on map recorded in Book 359, Pages 46 -47 in the Office
of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, State of
California; thence Southwesterly along the Westerly line of
said Lot, 25.00 feet.
SECTION 2. The said above described access rights to be utilized
for ingress and egress to said Lot 23 for its owners and /or developers on
condition that the access rights be improved and used in a manner approved
by the Department of Public Works of the City of Downey be maintained in a
good and usable condition at all times and that the building line for any
structure housing vehicles and facing Brookshire Avenue for the purpose of
taking their access therefrom be not less than 60.00 feet from the center-
line of Brookshire Avenue.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution and shall cause a certified copy thereof to be recorded with
the County of Los Angeles.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the
City Council of the City of Downey at a regular meeting thereof held on the
22nd day of May, 1973, by the following vote, to wit:
