A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DOWNEY ACCEPTING DEDICATION OF A PORTION OF
LOT 4 IN TRACT NO.5016 AS DESCRIBED IN FUTURE
STREET DEED.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 11616, Article 9, Chapter 2 of
the Business and Professional Code of the State of California, Deed
recorded on December 1, 1965 in Book D -3131, Page 944 of Records in
the Office of the County Recorder of sa-i.d' County designating a portion
of real property as Future Street, is hereby accepted and opened for
public use. Said portion of real property is described as follows:
The northwesterly 30 feet of that portion of Lot 4 of Tract
No. 5016 as shown on Map recorded in Book 61, Page 15 of Maps
in the Office of the County Recorder of said County, described
as follows:
Beginning at the easterly corner of said Lot 4; thence along the
northeasterly line of said Lot 4, North 58 ° 37'30" West 204.83 feet;
thence along a line which passes through a point in the southwesterly
line of said Lot 4, distant North 58 ° 37 0 30" West 186.18 feet from the
most southerly corner of said Lot, South 32 ° 08'04" West 341.26 feet
to the true point of beginning; thence South 32 ° 08'04" West 158.72
feet; thence parallel with the said northeasterly line South 58 ° 37'30"
East, 195.75 feet to the southeasterly line of said Lot; thence along
said southeasterly line North 33 ° 10'30" East, 158.78 feet to a line
parallel with said northeasterly line which passes through the true
point of beginning; thence North 58 ° 37'30" West, 198.63 feet to the
true point of beginning.
To be known as Orizaba Avenue.
SECTION 2. Said property also is particularly described in that
certain map attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and by this reference is
made a part hereof.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk of the City of Downey shall certify to
the adoption of this Resolution and cause a certified copy thereof,
attested to by the City Clerk under the seal of the City of Downey, to
be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles.
