RESOLUTION NO. 2718
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY
SETTING THE PROPERTY TAX RATES OF THE LIGHTING DISTRICTS
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1972 -73
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The tax rates required to operate and maintain the
below specified street lighting districts within the City of Downey for
fiscal year 1972 -73 on all assessable property in said districts
respectively shall be as described in the table hereinafter stated on
each One Hundred Dollars ($100) of assessed valuation, as assessed and
equalized by the County of Los Angeles.
Downey County Lighting District
That portion of the City of Downey within the boundaries of said
district as originally formed, together with annexations thereto or
withdrawals therefrom.
Downey City Lighting District, Zone 1
That portion of the City of Downey within the boundaries of said
district as originally formed, together with annexations thereto or
withdrawals therefrom.

SECTION 2. In compliance with Section 51511 of the Government
Code of the State of California, the Director of Finance shall transmit
a certified copy of this Resolution to the County Auditor on or before
September 1, 1972.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by
the City Council of the City of Downey at a regular meeting thereof held
on the 22nd day of August , 1972, by the following vote, to wit:
